About ICFRE-Institute of Forest Biodiversity (IFB)
IFB is a constituent institute of the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), an autonomous body that functions under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India. Based in Dulapally, Kompally, Hyderabad, the institute runs field and lab-based research projects on forest and coastal biodiversity, often in partnership with national funding bodies like DBT and DST. Because these posts sit on live, funded research projects, they give candidates hands-on exposure to fieldwork and data collection that's hard to get elsewhere.
