Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

Because this notification covers 127 different post codes, qualification and experience requirements vary enormously by role — from a plain Graduate degree with 2 years' banking experience for entry-level General Banking Officers, up to a Chartered Accountancy or specialized Master's degree with 15 years of leadership experience for senior IT Infra, Enterprise Architecture or Law Officer roles. All qualifications must be from full-time regular courses at recognized universities/institutions, and no equivalent qualification will be considered. Age Relaxation

Selection Process

The selection route depends on the scale of the post applied for.

• For posts up to Scale III: Online Examination, followed by Group Discussion (if required) and/or Personal Interview

For Specialist Officer post codes (S01–S108) up to Scale III, the online exam is a single Professional Knowledge paper of 50 questions/100 marks over 60 minutes. For General Banking post codes (G01–G19) up to Scale III, the exam adds qualifying Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English Language sections (25 marks each) to a 50-question/100-mark Professional Knowledge paper, for a total of 175 marks over 120 minutes. There's a penalty of 25% of a question's marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks in the online exam are 40% for General/EWS and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD. The Personal Interview carries 100 marks, with minimum qualifying marks of 50 for General/EWS and 45 for reserved categories; interview calls typically follow a 1:3 ratio against vacancies.
