Educational Qualification

There are two routes to qualify for this post. Candidates can either hold a B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing, a regular B.Sc Nursing, or a Post-Basic/Post-Certificate B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized institute, along with valid registration as a Nurse and Midwife. Alternatively, a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized institute, combined with valid registration and at least two years of work experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds (completed after finishing the course), also makes a candidate eligible. Salary Details

Selected Nursing Officers will be placed at Level 7 of the pay matrix, which corresponds to the pre-revised Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of ₹4,600/- under Group-B. Besides the basic pay, employees will also draw the usual central government allowances applicable to the city where their allotted AIIMS institute is located.

NORCET-11 is conducted in two stages, and only those who clear Stage I move on to Stage II, which finally decides the merit list.
