Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed SSC/10th Standard from a recognized Board. Any other recognized qualification considered equivalent to the 10th Standard will also be accepted.

Age Relaxation

Job Description / Nature of Duties

Multi-Tasking Staff at CSIR-IGIB handle a broad mix of administrative, housekeeping, and facility-support duties. Typical responsibilities include maintaining section records, general cleanliness and upkeep, photocopying and sending faxes, carrying files between sections, and opening/closing sections. Duties also extend to the institute's Guest House — maintaining records, collecting and remitting charges, attending to guest queries and complaints, and preparing tea/coffee for guests — as well as maintenance of gardens and green spaces (planting, watering, pest control, mowing), and upkeep of institute vehicles, including scheduling repairs and managing logbooks. Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates draw pay at Level-1 of the 7th CPC (₹18,000–₹56,900), with an approximate total emolument of ₹36,360 at the minimum of scale including HRA applicable to Delhi. In addition, employees are entitled to the usual central government allowances (DA, HRA, TA), CSIR accommodation subject to availability under the Residence Allotment Rules 2022 (HRA is not paid if accommodation is availed), Medical reimbursement, Leave Travel Concession, Children's Education Allowance, and coverage under the National Pension System or the extant Pension System as applicable. Exam Scheme & Selection Process

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria, as recommended by the Screening-cum-Selection Committee, will be called for an OMR-based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.
