Engineering Graduate, Non-Engineering Graduate and Technician Diploma candidates must have passed their qualifying exam in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 — this year-of-passing condition does not apply to ITI/Trade candidates. Selection Process
Selection is purely merit-based, with no written test.
- Trade Apprentices are selected based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying ITI examination
- Engineering Graduate, Non-Engineering Graduate and Technician Diploma candidates are selected based on percentage of marks in their Degree/Diploma, calculated as per the concerned university/institution's procedure
- Grades/CGPA are converted to percentage using the university's/institution's own conversion procedure
- In case of a tie at the cut-off, preference goes to the older candidate by date of birth
