Nature of Engagement
- Volunteers will be deployed under 'Wages', Highly Skilled Category, at the rate prescribed by the Department of Labour, Employment & Skill Development, Govt. of Meghalaya, including the Risk Allowance prescribed by the State Government, paid as monthly Honoraria.
- The deployment period is for 1 (one) year, which may be extended based on the volunteer's performance.
- The deployment is purely temporary and voluntary; no volunteer can claim regularization or permanent retention.
- Deployed volunteers can be dismissed or terminated at any time without assigning any reason.
- Selected volunteers must serve anywhere in the remote border areas of Khasi, Jaintia & Garo Hills bordering Bangladesh.
