Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

• Process Server: Pass in SSLC examination or equivalent qualification. Preference is given to candidates holding a Heavy/Light Motor Vehicle (HMV/LMV) driving licence.
• Peon: Pass in SSLC examination or equivalent qualification. Candidates must be able to read and write Kannada.

Age Limit (as on the last date for application)

Uttara Kannada District Court Salary Details 2026

Selected candidates will initially be placed on probation for a period of two years, extendable if required.

Selection Process

• Process Server: Shortlisted for interview based on percentage of marks in the qualifying exam, in a 1:25 ratio per post (as per reservation). The interview carries 10 marks.
• Peon: Shortlisted for interview based on percentage of marks in the SSLC examination, in a 1:10 ratio per post. The interview carries 10 marks.
• Final selection for both posts is based on marks scored in the interview.
• In case of a tie, seniority in age is used to determine merit order, with the older candidate ranked higher.
